Joseph Smith taught that we would spend the eternities learning new things.  Brigham Young also taught that we would continue to progress in knowledge and understanding throughout all eternity.  With that in mind, you shouldn’t find it very hard to find something that you don’t know much about and then to learn about it!

 

Set a goal that will help you to stretch and learn more about this world.

 

For Example:

 

 Read five books from a list of classical literature.

 Become current events savvy: Read up on the news regularly and study related terms and countries, etc.

 Choose an era in history and make a study of it.  You may decide to read a historical fiction or two to get you started, but then read some non-fiction and verify things.

 Pick a subject that you would like to learn about: geology, biology, architecture, design, etc. and then read at least one book about it.

 Start learning a new language.

 Sign up for something at school that is optional, like a history or science fair, or a spelling bee.
